Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers! Well, answers to our most commonly asked questions, that is. Check 'em out below.

  • Leashed dogs and pets are allowed in our outdoor areas on days with favorable weather. However, we do not allow pets inside the taproom at this time. If you are visiting with a service dog, please check in with staff when you arrive.

  • We always encourage visitors to support our local food trucks! If we have a food truck on schedule, please refrain from bringing in outside food. On days with no food trucks, we also offer an in-house taproom menu that you can view here.

  • Our taproom is currently open every day! Visit us Monday-Friday, 12pm-9pm; Saturday, 11am-9pm; and Sunday, 12pm-5pm. Occasionally, we will extend or shorten taproom hours on select days. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to stay informed of any updates.

  • We distribute our core beer brands (Sea Hag, Wee Hag, Fuzzy Baby Ducks, Supernaut, and NEBCO Lager) regularly to stores throughout Connecticut. We also occasionally release seasonal beers to select stores. When in doubt, always reach out to your local provider to make sure our beer is on the shelves!

As of today, we do not distribute our beer outside of Connecticut. Never say never!

  • For tour inquiries, please email info@newenglandbrewing.com.

  • Check out our current tap list here to see what's pouring now. Along with our staple brands, we're always pouring some taproom-exclusive beers that you can't find anywhere else!

  • We do offer a number of non-alcoholic beverages, including Foxon Park soda, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing Company. We also offer New England Cider as a gluten-free choice. When in doubt, always inform staff of gluten sensitivity or any other allergies.

You can find our full list of NA/gluten-free offerings here!

  • We make beer, beer, and more beer. As of today, beer is all we make - but we won't rule out other possibilities in the future. In fact, feel free to send us some of your best suggestions for us to ponder in the months and years ahead.

In the taproom, however, we do offer non-beer options (not made by us) for those looking for something a little different. Check out the menu here.

  • Yes! We'd be happy to fill your growler with one of our classic core beers: Sea Hag, Wee Hag, Fuzzy Baby Ducks, Supernaut, and NEBCO Lager. Bring it on in and ask one of our taproom staff for assistance.

Outside growlers must be clean upon filling, as an unclean growler could impart negative characteristics to your beer and drinking experience. With that in mind, our staff will only fill clean growlers. New growlers are also available to purchase in the taproom.

  • Unopened, sealed, and refrigerated, a filled growler could last one week or more. We always recommend drinking it sooner rather than later. Once opened, a growler is best enjoyed within 24 hours.

  • We do offer a collection of seasonal beers made available at various points throughout the year. Explore our seasonal offerings here and stay in the know with us on Facebook and Instagram so you never miss a thing.

Should we ever open up pre-orders for certain very limited beer releases, we'll be sure to make an announcement across all our social media pages. Cheers!

  • Seating in the taproom is first come, first serve. If you're looking to host a private party or event, learn more here.

  • Yes - we have several private event spaces ready to rent! View our private events page to learn more and get in touch.

  • Visitors under 21 are welcome at the brewery as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Outside alcohol is not permitted at the brewery under any circumstances. This includes four and six packs purchased at the brewery; these must be consumed at home/elsewhere.

  • Oh no! While we hope you don't ever lose anything, be sure to contact us immediately if you do. Calling the taproom at (203) 387-2222 may ensure a quicker response, but we're also reachable at info@newenglandbrewing.com.

  • We're always on the lookout for talented new faces to join our team. Check out our current openings here or swing by the taproom to say hi and fill out a general consideration form.

In the event that we do not have a food truck on site, we also offer an in-house taproom menu that you can view here.
